MET Quotas
Due to recent developments, we need to inform members that Animal Use Quotas for Communal Conservancies received from the Ministry of Environment and Tourism should not be assumed as final, unless an official MET Stamp is reflected on such quota.
NAPHA addressed the matter of late quota release with MET officials and we were informed that the aim is to release quotas by the end of December - in time for the first annual hunting shows in the US.

Expression of interest: NAPHA Marketing Material
Updated marketing material needs to be compiled, as old stock nears depletion. Interested parties are invited to provide input - contact the NAPHA Office (061 234 455 / to submit ideas and/or printing quotations.

A NAPHA information booklet (containing benefits for members, NAPHA's history, mission and goals, information on membership categories, medals, services offered, etc.) and an 'Exhibitor Pin/brooch' are in the pipeline.

Suggestions are welcome. The NAPHA logo is currently undergoing a refreshment process - watch the newsletter - we will share the update with you shortly.
NAPHA First Aid Refresher Course
The First Aid Refresher Course took place at the Namibia Agricultural Union this morning. Below please find a picture of the participants.
Please note that we are trying to accommodate members on special half day refresher courses as far as possible - these courses however require a minimum of 15 participants. Special arrangements had to be made for today's course.

Save the Date: NAPHA AGM 2017
The NAPHA AGM is scheduled for Tuesday, 28 November 2017, at the Safari Court Hotel and Conference Centre again.
The NAPHA in-house magazine HuntiNamibia is a great marketing tool for  members and is now available in electronic format from the NAPHA website (, which can be fowarded to all your hunting clients and interested parties, keeping the protection of the environment in mind.
Parties that prefer a paper edition are welcome to collect their copy from the office.
The HuntiNamibia magazine (English and German edition) is distributed globally. Should you wish to advertise in the 2018 edition please contact Rieth van Schalkwyk ( / 061 420 050).

We are looking for 2 Game Viewer vehicles.
