Mr Helmut Halenke – Vice Chair (1 year)
Mrs Gudrun Heger – Secretary/Treasurer (2 years) /
Ms Rebekka Mueller – Additional member (2 years)

Game Fair in France 23-25 June 2017
NAPHA has been offered a 9m² stand at the Game Fair in Lamotte, in exchange for a full page ad in the June/July/August 2017 edition of the Chasses Internationales magazine to be released in June.
During the 2016 French Game Fair our line ministry did not attend but 5 NAPHA Members and 3 non NAPHA Members did. Use was made of translators to bring across messages about Namibia and what our country has to offer. During 2015 Namibia welcomed ±200 French hunters (in comparison to ±1000 hunters from the USA).

In your opinion, should NAPHA continue to pursue the French Market, or should we rather explore a different market?
Please share your opinion on this matter with the NAPHA office as soon as possible.
FINAL NOTICE - Membership Fees
Kindly note that members are hereby given a final opportunity to pay their 2017 membership fees before 30 APRIL 2017.
During the NAPHA Exco meeting of 05 April 2017 it was resolved that members who have not paid their membership fees by 30 April 2017 will lose their NAPHA membership.
No further extension will be granted, unless arrangements have been made with the NAPHA Office.

USA Hunters travelling through South Africa - Customs Form 4457
Hunters departing the USA and traveling via South Africa with their hunting rifles should note that the South African Police Services’ central firearms desk will no longer accept America’s Department of Homeland Security’s Certificate of Registration, commonly known as CBP Form 4457, if the date in the top right hand corner has expired, even if a US border official has stamped it with a later date.
Please access the NEW CBP Form 4457 here, from Homeland Security’s official website.
Kindly make your hunting clients aware of this and urge them to obtain a new Certificate of Registration, prior to leaving the United States of America.
Hunt Africa 2017/2018
In the NAPHA Newsletter of 16 December 2016 a word of caution was extended regarding a publication by the name of Hunt Africa 2017, which was to roll out on 1 February. It appears that several NAPHA Members have proceeded to enter into an advertising agreement with this publication and could to date not be presented with their copies of an issue. The roll out date has also been shifted several times and the NAPHA Office has been contacted by various members enquiring on the legitimacy of this publication.
Even though the publisher, Peekaboo Media South Africa, has been making use of the NAPHA (and various other hunting associations) logo, we remind our members that NAPHA is neither affiliated nor endorses this publication. We have been in contact with the publisher, who has since proceeded to remove the logo(s) from their website, although we have no control over the advertising material this publisher distributes.
Please take heed and be cautious before commencing in any transaction with this (or any similar) publication.
